Thank you for your lovely website!

I am interested in contacting Mr. David Fried, and have been searching, thus far without success, for his email address. My query to the Maryland Institute was never answered.

Could you possibly furnish it to me? I want to write him very much.

I was fortunate in that, many years ago on West North Avenue in Baltimore, Mr. Fried’s brother Herschel C. Fried painted my portrait.

I am now the only surviving member of my family. My parents, and very recently, my beloved sister, have passed away. I am in an assisted living home.

I clearly remember a very talented David Fried, who was present when his brother painted my portrait. At the time, he seemed in awe of his brother’s genius, and I told him repeatedly (having seen his own art work as a teenager) that I thought he had tremendous original talent of his own.

Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Rita J. Traub
